As part of the new LEGOLAND® Windsor Holiday Village development, Western Blueprint was appointed to design and deliver the back-of-house kitchen for the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar—a central dining destination for guests enjoying an immersive LEGO®-themed stay.

The brief called for a layout that would optimise the guest journey throughout varying service periods, from high-volume family breakfasts to more relaxed, table-service dinners. Our design focused on flexibility, efficiency, and flow, supporting both rapid service at peak times and dwell time during evening entertainment offerings.

To meet the demands of split dayparts, we developed a kitchen configuration that ensures smooth transitions between breakfast buffet and à la carte dinner service. Clear separation of preparation zones, efficient circulation paths, and intuitive equipment placement support consistent throughput and minimal disruption—enhancing service quality across all sittings.

In keeping with LEGOLAND’s commitment to inclusive family dining, the kitchen also includes a designated allergen preparation and cooking area, enabling the team to manage dietary requirements safely and confidently.

Delivered as part of a brand-new build, this project showcases our ability to align operational needs with guest expectations—supporting the delivery of memorable, efficient hospitality experiences in high-footfall leisure environments.
